... really?

Never happpened. Ever. And I live in Poland, the country that people think is really really poor, raised in family that had little money. Never seen anyone been so "unwelcomming" as this.

Guess you Americans are just tight-ass like hell, at least not as friendly as my people :)

brewstew responds:

You're absolutely correct.

Walking through a mall during christmas boom will never be the same again :D

Good animation, quick to the point end, and in my opinion, a good kick for the everyear jingle.

Worth watching, lower "M" to "T", a little cartoonish heart with no blood is not that bad.

Jumpkut responds:

Thanks! Good point :) Wasn't sure which rating parameters controlled the overall rating when I set it.

Graphics pixelated, though not sprites ( I guess that's a bad resolution conversion problem). Slow motion animation with big frame skipping did not make up for that neither.

Maybe it was a bit cartoony, but still, eye wound looked really unrealistic, alon with the waterfall of blood.

Also, the joke is so low it missed the laughing spot on the way to hell.

Two stars for the overall. Seriously, exercise your jokes, internet is already full of ick things... and I'm afraid even they are better than this.

AmateurCreator responds:

Yea pixelation was unintentional, just blame that on the crappy programs I use. The video wasn't meant to astound anyone but hopefully people can accept it for what it is. Anyway thanks for your feedback!

Great animation, you can see alot of work put into it, from random background animations, through crazy exact lip sync, to focus on the the plans of the scenery. All this needs alot of work and planning, and were executed brilliantly.

The ideas of the beatbox battle places were also very dramatic and well though: wind blowing in hear, slow fog, moving sky clouds, it all counts as a good way to promote and make your material more dramatic, making the battle look more fierce.

As for audio, this "track", it sounds silly (not a fan of beatbox) but it is clear that it also needed alot of work to produce those sounds at this speed, you have to respect people if they can do something to that extend.

All in all, great animation. I understand the author wants to underline being creator of the series and don't mind reviewing his work, even if its an animation posted long long after its premierre in youTubs.

P.S. Could you write a statement explaining why you and bulgariananimations post some materials separately, even if you are (as far as I am aware) the creator of most of the work.

NedelchoBogdanov responds:

Hi, thanks for the comment! Bulgarian Animation are producers ho make with us two shows: The Show (there are autors) and Marmalade (I am the autor) ! Brain Damage and Balgar (which I will show you soon) are my independent productions!

If you didn't quess it by the time the movie finish, this is a parody of reviews, much like the popular "Dot dot dot", only here we get to listen to many a people/whimpers/whiners/nerdcracks.

This isn't much of an animation as its a piece of voice act complete with smart subtitle play, so the score goes for the voice act and the idea. The interpretation is quite nice, paroding all those responses must've taken much time (with all that voice modulation and some ideas requiring more voice editing). Since I'm not an expert in commenting voice act I'll just say: very clear, funny and nicely made voice acting. It fets like a kind of freestyle or portfolio flash (just a feeling, Mr DruxtheShredder has already shared his uncanny art in many submissions, such as "Skyrim: Sneaking" or "The Ownians").

The animator also did good, seeing as the subtitles were not only diverse, but also dynamically changing according to the present mood (immitated IQ level) of the parodied reviewers.

All in all, I'm sure most of you people will be glad of the collaboration Evil-Dog and DructheShredder made. Compliments for fine arts and music to SickDeathFiend and Symphony of Specters. I love you guys.

Evil-Dog responds:

Haha thanks for the nice review, it was a little distraction, Druox did great and it took me like a day to put together. Just a distraction from Road of the Dead 2

This trailer announces the comeback of one of the most prominent man-made superhero of world. "Batman Noir" keeps to the style of last century noir: grayish world, comic-like reality. One of the nice adds to the genre are objects partially animated to give the idea of "moving pieces of the puzzle".

The characters themselves look like reshaped shadows of themselves from a reflective dimension, which not only give them new looks but probably hint at new character traits, different live experiences that most probably already have their own dossier in Gotham Arkham Assylum or Gotham Police Department. Most of all the idea of Batman itself, the one object that already been used to show every human aspect from crime fighting, through human addiction (Batman Venom), lately the force that not only fights but also attracts violence (two latest Batman films and games). Setting the black knight in a new place might gives the room to create a different man, or possibly explain some yet hidden problems with the man we already though we have cracked.
The villains seem oddly normal judging from the looks of the feline part of the cast, which could mean there has been more work put into their history and character than the overall "pump-in-power" some productions do to make their bad guys look "dangerous".

Light bloom effects, smooth blurry changes in the animatic (animation as in "slide by slide") sequences mixed with simple object animation (motion animation) are what makes me want to wait for the real thing.

I tell you, those thing will keep human imagination running wild.

skewster responds:

Thanx for the feedback, man!

A trip to freshness

While fishing for any new ideas on scripts and films, you might get interested in this light piece of work.

During the screening, the viewer can deduct the film presents here the flaws of the matrix organisation structure, that is, how the work and organisation in NASA is being divided (between several project teams). Although highly unprobable due to the security maintance, one can surely imagine the cumbersome and sometimes mistake prone protocols that can bring utter destruction to the whole project. In this particular film, we have a vision of one of those "giant leaps for mankind" gone awry.

The graphics of the movie aren't anything advanced, but that doesn't keep one from taking pleasure in sunking into the plot of the film. Although characters are giant, solid coloured birds, they are given accessories and elements that makes them stand out more in the whole film. The backgrounds and surroundings were made quite crude, for instance the last explosion in the film, (probably drawn mainly in flash oriented programm) but the artist does have a good of using certain animation knick-knacks (for instance the last scenes in space). Theoverall for graphics would be 6/10

The audio consisted of several clear, good voice acts as well as ambient music in the background that upped the mood. Some of the effects though were outbursted though (giving the "cracking sound" effect, like in the intro), but they were only a few. The artist shows resourcefullness in combining that many voice acts and composing them nicely. Substracting the credit's song (which were made by Oney - nice one man) the audio deserves 7.5/10 (0.5 substracted for the riddicule of some of the voices, ie.: "It's going to explooOOoode" byt the astronomer)

Overally though, the flash presents itself, and the author, as a growing talent on the script writing scene. Given enough time, we might be able to see something good, as long as he also developes/employs graphic skills. Now that this is said, please enjoy the film.

Pahgawk responds:

That was an incredibly detailed review, man. Thanks!

Bummer

It may be harsh:

- the graphics weren't bad, they just lacked any special thing. With Flash MX, you should be able to do better.

- "The things I HATE", I think I'll write the book with the addition of animated sausages taking revenge on their consumers. It's just that I don't like the non-logical and/or stupid short stories. They should be banned on NG, unless we all want to drastically lower our IQ's by just reading a front page submision.

- The sound was clear. Yet again, drop points for the content ("Some songs should never be written, so they would never be sang", written on a singers grave :)

- Violence? Naah, I think no brain can be THAT harmed to give it more than 2. Still, as damage accumulates, the mind is loosing itself...

- Humor. Please, don't call it funny. Unless you're drunk/drugged/tired/dizzied/il l or not sane in any way, stay on the right side of the road. Laughting from things like that is lowering the humor level of the NG, and it's society to in addition!

Overall:

Tought luck. Just putting an effort of drawing 4-5 scenes, animations doesn't really stack the level of the flash animation, especially when you put a gag out the-place-where-the-sun-cannot -shine.

There is a plus thought: It is shorter than reading my review :)

FatRat66 responds:

Well I think you took it a bit too seriously :P

Nice idea, I want more jokes :)

Parodies are good, if only they doesn't repeat the same things over and over. Good job avoiding this problem :)
The graphics are nice, but although sprites doesn't need alot of care and are cheap in the matter of size, original graphics are valued better. The other grahic effects (eg. explosion) were great :). And you havn't restricted your spites to only Pokemon (I still wonder where's the granade from). Animation is clear.
I only disliked 3 things. The white frame over the pokemons in preloader, the way the preloader bar covered the trainers response (fu**) and the dialog window that got outta the screen.

The music is nice. I don't now why, but i like it ^^.

Cool style. I never thought of using a granade on other things than pokemon :D.
I must say, it was too short. You could put 1-2 more jokes in there, or try to make a longer story out of it :|.
And plz, slow down the pokemons conversation in the preloader (english is not everyones native lang. you know).

All in all, make even better things :). Next time try asking friends to put your flash on their pages to see how good they are in the field.
Good luck

GoldenSprite responds:

First the grenade is a def up item from pokemon (I think its Def up) and Music is from pokemon too. I made it cover on purpose because I'd get in trouble with my parents if I didnt.

Cool

Nice one :) I really liked the 3D graphic.

Music is nice, and also, exept the line the ninja said (couldn't make a thing out of it).

Grat idea for ninja competition! I think I'll partake!

PureCarnage responds:

Please do, this is supposed to be for fun, I want more ninja flash :D I think we all can have a blast being ninja freaks!

He who has the power cannot supress it. Release your potential creators >_< (Couse I can't ;P)
