One of the most sensitive films on the NG

In a time when almost every NG user wants to "flash" (become noticed :) many films are about action, violence and comedy. This is why we miss films like this one, films that deeply moves our hearts. This film is a story about an innocent love. It shows us that anyone could run out of time any second, and thus lost it's chance to say how he care about others.

The graphics are maybe not outstandig, but are made with precision. They characters are drawn in high quality, and the manga style faces shows every emotion (and not only that ex. the girls loughter). The author used also other sort of manga elements , like dynamic lines. The smooth animation and monochromatic picture gives the feel of delicacy to the the film, which ofcourse is another plus.

The music is like an underline for the atmosphere. Thoguht some might say that adding sounds to the film would be a profanation of the art, i would suggest so (sounds like track horn, girl loughter).

Finally, the idea. The author of the whole project must be either a professional or a lover. The story is carefully brought to the viewer, and it catches tones soul in it. The only part of it that made me feel uncomfortable was when the boy as going to give the flower to the girl. In my opinion it was way to long. And it lowered the effect of the ending. Also, how long must a truck ride before knocking the boy? A sudden death would bring more surprise to the story. So althought slow speed was accurate for some scenes, i think the last scenes needed more action.

All in all I recomendthos film to all who can appreciate a kind sotry in form of a Flash.

Fans of Ghost in The Shell will surely like it -_-

When i saw the title I thought "*Great*, another human-machine philosophical story". But after seeing it ONCE i must say that there is something fresh about it. In Ghost in The Shell (which i find the best related piece of work) the main characters were always robots who live, or try to to live in human society. But in Utopia there is no human world. The main character, who is a robot, must struggle with more ancient, and primitive benig then just humans. It's a small step forward in the history of battle between those created artificial and the creators themselves. I find the story really nice.

The Graphics of robots and his "enemies" (don't won't to spoil) are done nice-looking and can be done simple with only Flash tools. some of the elements were copy pasted(background), but that's tolerable. The best side of the film is it's action. The author used almost every known run-away element in the film, like enemies reaching the unaware victim. Also the robot is not just a solid piece of metal. We can see by the expression of it's face when it's tired, scared, thinking. It moves mostly in 2d dimension, but the the film has many scenes wtih diffrent perspectives of cameras. Also the number of details makes te game in some scenes skipping the frames, which annoys users with less than 2 GHZ one the comp.

And finally, the music. It has the beat, doesn't sound bad and catches attention. It also gives juice to the action. But becouse it's not what really interested me, i'm not giving it more than i had.

All in all this is a nice piece of work. It's better then an avarage film, and thus worth seeing it.

Wow, that was a mouth fool. But you're right, alot of people said it was really choppy, didn't run choppy at all on my Comp.

He who has the power cannot supress it. Release your potential creators >_< (Couse I can't ;P)
